My Matco dealer has a used Snap On KRL1032, its and older unit which doesn't have the two 72" wide top drawers, the unit has some stickers on it and the right vertical trim has some dings & scratches, the left vertical trim / upler corner shows signs of the unit rolling into somethingto the point the sheet metal is deformed likewise the stainless top is mushroomed at that corner too. I checked and all of the drawers roll smooth and the drawer liners and the casters have been replaced within the last year and are in good shape, what price would you pay for this? Oh, its extreme yellow.

I paid $4k for mine and I think it was a good deal in pretty good shape. Definitely one of my favorite boxes on the market. The 54" drawers are awesome!

This might give you an idea of the space you'll have

I would think in the $3-4K range. It`s a love it or hate it color. It also can be difficult to find matching add on components for, like a hutch or locker down the road.

Depending on how beat up it really is, I'd shoot low at $2,000. I'm sure the dealer has a price in mind so see how he responds and deal from there.

He is staying at the $4,995 price is truck credit, he'll do $4,795 if credit card; i offered $3,200, since he is a sub-driver (drives a truck for the actual Matco dealer - the dealer has a huge territory and has a few guys driving trucks for him.).

Thanks for the info guys, I'll let you know what happens.

With the damage taken into consideration I think your offer was more than fair if you like the color and layout. For almost 5k you could get a used Epiq in good shape, like Hautpot said there are plenty of options out there on the used market.

I think meeting him in the middle at $4k would be a pretty good deal. Even a steal on an 68" Epiq around here is $5500 and the 1032 is bigger and has more drawers
