Older Tire Machine in SoCal

I'm looking for an older machine , just the round table with at least one air powered bead breaker , top and bottom is better . I'm thinking of the Coates 4 star model , but I'll look at anything . I really don't have room for the newer 20-20's or 30-30's , but they are not out of the question if cheap enough.....I found one in Hesperia , but thats $100 worth of gas from here with my old D250...Thanks !!

They come up out her in the Redlands every 6 months or so. I had one here but took it back to my farm in Indian and bolted it to the floor. I got it form an old farmer in the area for $40

Go to the swapmeets every sunday and you will stumble onto one.
The San Bernardion swap meet is a great gold mine for cheap tools. The tire changers come up here every 6 months or so. We now have so many closed Sundays because of other events that it messes up the meet. It has been going here sense 1972.

I have not seen one on Craigs list here in CA for over a year.

They have not been used in such a long time that that all the old ones have been snaped up thorugh the years.
Try HF. They make several models and they are not expensive.

I looked at the 20-20 ..thats overpriced .The uprights are more machine than I want . All I need is the old style round table manual machine like H.F.'s , but American made. The other post was deleted already...But thanks !!

That's sure an interesting style , but I think I'll stick with the center clamp style. I've never seen that kind before , and the missing parts could be a fatal flaw....Thanks
