My father in law passed away about a month ago and I was given his vise. Based on what I’ve found online it’s a 5” Continental International multipurpose vise? Or atleast looks just like them. It’s missing some of the jaw parts for the pipe side. Are those a semi standardized piece or is it specific to this vise? I’m not looking to restore it or anything. Just make it fully functional as a multipurpose vise. It’s definitely seen its share of use and seems like it’ll do the job for my needs great. I tore it apart and cleaned it up a bit but I’m going to pretty much leave it as is and start beating on stuff. image.jpgimage.jpg

I just shot him an email thanks!

I guess worse case I can probably attempt to make some parts with my poor skills and some ingenuity. My super poor welding skills has made me an expert grinder.

That vise was made under a number of names... it's a good stout Asian vise.

If you don't have luck I may be able to find time to make one for you.
