What is the better box in your opinion? Which is sturdier? I have an older Waterloo 41" build quality is decent although friction slides on all drawers but the top one. I know a lot of guys like the hf boxes, and at my work there are 4 guys each pushing their own us general service cart on a daily basis. Those boxes are ok for what these guys do, but they are on the flimsy side. What Do Ya'll folks think?

HF, but depends on the specific Waterloo you have. It is very difficult to beat the HF44" bottom without spending much time or sheer luck in the sub ~$450 range.

I actually found an old thread comparing these boxes literally minutes after posting. The OP put calipers to the drawers, Waterloo used thicker steel by his findings.

Friction slides are fine actually, a light coat of light grease helps. They don't feel as nice as bearing slides but they have worked fine for years. I'd go with the more durable box.

I have many old craftsman with friction slides and 2 HF 44 and for daily use I think the 44 is better and easier to use the drawers. Friction slides IMO don't work to well with loaded drawers.
