Just wanted to post how pleased I am with a transaction Oldsmobile and I just completed.

My dad is a retired electrical engineer but has wired enough houses on his own time for family and friends to wear his favorite wire strippers out. Searching for a bit for the Holub 18-300 online turned up a pair on eBay that was missing the blades, a pair that was auctioned off with other tools in 2015, and a post on Garage Journal from Oldsmobile from some tools he scored in 2017. I signed up for Garage Journal and asked Oldsmobile if he still had them and would be willing to part with them. He said he would be willing to let them go.

I shot him a fair price and everything went great. The strippers are in good shape.

I also received this nice handwritten note with the strippers.

I just received these nice Barcalo combo wrenches from GJ member Oldsmobile to add to my collection. They arrived incredibly quickly and he did an amazing job of packaging them, much better than I would have done. His price was very reasonable as well. They will be a great addition to the Barcalo shrine.

Just quick comment on dealing with @Oldsmobile as a seller on this forum. He is easy to deal with, has fair prices and extremely good shipping standards/timeliness. If he offers anything in the future I need, I won’t hesitate to buy from him again!
