Hello, I'm happy to join your community. My current interest is a rock island vice model 542-bx. When I acquired it one of the jaws was broken. I have been looking for a replacement for some time with no luck. Has anyone had any success in this endeavor? I would appreciate any help. Thanks for your web site.

you are happy to be here and we are happy to have you! I don't have any replacement info but there are several members here who do machine work that may be able to make you one. a guy named kevin54 is who i would recomend

Olen: since i don't have all the old Rock Island vise versions memorized yet and i do know a bit about vises you might post up several pictures and maybe i (we) can help you. ok?
