Anyone ever see these before? They look very similar to Snap On pry bars.

I think Olympia Tools was a tool company specializing in hand tools. They were bought out and renamed Olympia Tools International. This occurred around '06-7. The focus is to sell to stores that are not dedicated tool outlets; more of a convenience item to have. I can't find the COO, but I will assume the Far East.

These have been around my dads house for a long time. Certainly since the 90s or later. They seem like a quality piece and look exactly like Snap On pry bars. I will try to get a photo of them side by side.

Junk. May get you through one or twice but the stuff bends or simply snaps.
Basically it's cut up Chevys and Fords from china.

Five or ten years ago a couple brands floated through Harbor Freight, and Olympia is I think one of them, its on one of my trailer hitch sized wrenches. Lots of the HF stuff is made to look like Snapon.

Olympia comes from china and even though they look nice they tend to not hold up very well; at least not for everyday hard use and abuse.

For the homeowner they will do very nicely for simple home repair jobs around the house.

well they look just like snap-on if you mean they have a square shank and a handle. i would get better. they may work but stick with mayhew, wilde and craftsman (made by wilde) that are better performers, reasonably priced and us made. some cheap pry bars may be ok but most of them **** as they bend , flex and twist. apparently you already have the craftsman so it looks like so you know what they are like.

Well that *****, I was hoping these were at least decent. Since these will be used around the house and farm and not professionally I will use them since I got them and if/when they bend I will take that opportunity to upgrade.

I remember 10 or more years ago looking at a batch of Olympia tools at a private clearance outlet that stated that they met US Army / DOD (or something) spec section 'xxxxxx'. I don't know what that really means at the end of the day or what may have subsequently happened to the brand. They may, for all I know, have been part of some special production contract.

I'll have to take a look and see if I still have any in the package. I threw a few into my emergency box.
