I have one and Top Secret is about 25 miles from me in Arlington, WA.

We visited their car restoration shop and looked at the lifts. They look the same as the Gregg Smith lifts...I suspect there is one factory that makes them under contract.

Top Secret groups up their orders and buys a container load. It would have cost more for me to drive to Portland and pick it up than to have Top Secret install it. So I had them do it.

Before the comments start; I have cleared some of the stuff in garage after this picture. The wine is for our yacht club Crab Feed and the couch at the nose of the truck is gone.

Anyhow, I have had no issues with the lift. I think it is no better or worse than the rest of the Chinese sourced lifts. If I used it multiple times per day in a shop, one the brand named lifts would be the choice. I used a no name mid rise scissors lift for years and now my BIL has it and uses it.

Cheers!

Are you in the PNW? I don't believe they ship cross country.

I have one, and it's a basic Chinese lift. It's nice, don't get me wrong, and the Top Secret guys are great (in addition to'ving one of their lifts, they've also worked on my cars). I just want to be up-front about what it is. If you look at Eagle, or any of the other companies that're peddling Chinese-built lifts, it's the same thing. I would recommend finding whatever company is local to you, and working with them. Shipping/delivery/installation are about the biggest variables you'll find.

Any more pics Bruce? This lift looks almost identical to a Stratus lift I was looking at.

This thread is a few years old I know, but I just bought the Olympic 2PBPXW-10 which is a 10,000# base plate, extra-wide two-post lift. I chose the Olympic over other Chinese lifts, because it comes with a single point lock release, and an upgraded pump with steel reservoir instead of plastic, and is extra-wide. I also like the black and red colors of it rather than the tired old blue or silver, and yellow. The Olympic didn't come with the truck extenders included like many other Chinese lifts do, and I had to pay to have it shipped to Colorado, which made it a little more expensive.

I didn't buy mine from Top Secret. I got it from https://olympic-equipment.com. They are also in Arlington Washington though, so it may be the same company doing business under a different name.

Here's how my cost breakdown was in October 2023...

Lift$2,997
Truck Adapters$109
Frame Cradle Set$169
Shipping to Colorado$577
Total
$3,852

There are other sellers of Chinese lifts that come in a bit under that because though they charge more for the lift, they throw in the truck adapters and frame cradles, and have free shipping. The thing I didn't like about them though, is their lifts were more basic.

If you want the "Extra Wide", upgraded pump with metal reservoir and "Single Point Lock Release" then you have to go up to their 11,000 lb. or 12,000 lb. versions which are much more expensive, and still blue and yellow or silver and yellow.

Overall I am happy with my decision, though I haven't received it yet. I'll update this after I do.

Regarding the Stratus lift. It is different. There aren't enough similarities for me to think they are the same lift or even the same manufacturer.

The Stratus does have a single-point lock release which is nice. It also is dark gray and orange, which look good together. It also has free shipping which is also nice. it also doesn't come with the 6" truck adapters or frame cradles, only has two-stage arms instead of three-stage, and has the cheaper pump with plastic reservoir.

The Stratus has a 5 year warranty instead of a 7 year like the Olympic does. I don't know how much value one can put into the warranty for these Chinese lifts though. I figure that if it breaks in the next few years, then you'll have to fix it on your own.

The Stratus should cost you about $3,050 unless you are in OR, WA, ID, MT, ND, SD or ME, then it'll cost you $3,300.

If you live in Texas then they'll charge you sales tax on top of the $3,050.

So the Stratus will cost you $500 to $750 less than the Olympic depending on where you live, but you'll be missing the 6" truck adapters and frame cradle set, which you can acquire elsewhere for about $300. If those are important to you then the Olympic is within $200 to $450 of the Stratus, which is a lesser lift than the Olympic 2PBPXW-10.

I think the Olympic is worth the little bit extra. If Olympic would include free shipping then it'd be a NO BRAINER.

While writing this I decided that it's probably worth its own thread, so I'll post a new one.
