Hi people, well after about 15 months and some laywers threats of suite, my 40x40 is finally going up! And my builder seems to be doing it right for me. Its got 12' ceil for a lift, a rotary 2 post, and a 12x 40 upstairs rm that I'll finish off later. Two 9x9 and a walk in dr. 6" 3500 slab, and a few windows, thermopanes, and the drs are ins., for sound and future AC. I'll post pics. as soon as I figure out how to. I've been drooling over some of the gar. posted here, and now I'm getting mine. I have grown up with my family owning a bodyshop/ mech. shop, and plan on having my own mini version of it. Been fun lookin at your stuff, hope to post pics of mine soon. Joe

Congrats! You will like the 40x40 size although it will fill up quickly once you get the lift installed! You will also be happy with the Rotary lift. Just got mine installed last week....

I bought a 2 post asymetrical Rotary lift and had it installed this summer. They have an option where you can run air and electricity to a box mounted on one of the lift posts. I bought this and it is real handy to have air/power at the lift. Good luck on your build.
