Hey guys I have a automotive repair shop. Part of my business is we work or repair muscle cars. I want to put together a tool box and tools from the mid sixties to late 70’s. Any website or places you know of that I can find a tool box and tools form that period. Or anyone selling some. Let me know i would appreciate it.

Ebay, Craigslist, and Facebook market place. I looked at a retired mechanic's collection a week ago in Omaha that is from the 70ies. Ask your local tool trucks, they usually have some trade in boxes that may be that vintage.

Could there possibly be a more iconic muscle car era Snap-on toolbox? Only made for three years in the late sixties.

This is in ridiculously amazing original condition and is for sale.

Good lord... I’m not a snappy guy, but Damn that’s a **** set of boxes... I’m trying to resist asking where and how much.. hoping it’s too far away and out of my budget!

I missed one of those in SoCal last year which was full of mostly unused period tools. Like the owner's box...big and shiny and unused.

Still regret not pulling the trigger.

I kind of want to get one and fill it with my SAE tools, which only ever get used when the Ranchero has an issue.

If only I didn't have pesky urban square footage limitations...

That Snap-On box is the coolest thing I've ever seen, but I suspect the asking price is considerably more than what I paid for most of my cars.

Nothing screams faux woodgrain like the 60's/70's

I took our 2011 CRV to dealer for some work, and they gave me a 2018 CRV loaner. It had a faux woodgrain dash piece running across the dash. I guess made from plastic, but it looked nice.

Also, wide ties are popular again. Long live the 60's and 70's!
