On line tool company recommendation

Looking for recommendations of good on line tool companies.

I recently placed an order with ToolSource and received one item and not the other. Of course they charged my Visa for the full amount. I never could find out when the other item was coming and was finally able to cancel it, after three days of customer service trying to get an answer from the warehouse.

I then read reviews on some of the other major companies with many were negative, plus problems getting timely credit for returns.
Looked at Zoro, Tool Barn, Tool Topia and Tool Warehouse Net.

Amazon has an amazing amount of tools there too...unless it is a specialty item...you would be surprised at what they carry. Easy returns too...

Zoro has been very good to me. Make sure to get a 15%, 20%, or 25% (if you can find it) off via a code from the Zoro discount thread.

ACME is very good and has great CS

Tool Barn though prices maybe slightly higher also has good CS

CPO also is very prompt though a lot is often out of stock

Depends what you are looking for but anything PB Swiss go to Toollady.com for Facom/USAG/Euro Tools goto UltimateGarage.com and for Koken/KTC/Japanese Tools goto FranksTools. They ship out pretty fast, packaging is never messed up and prices are pretty decent. Especially with the availability that these sites offer not a lot of other places in the US even sell a lot of the tools on their sites.

In no order what-so-ever; zoro, tooltopia, toolsdelivered, frankstools, amazon, ebay, toolsplus, AESwave, Harry J epstein, Cripe distributing (also on EBAY), CPO outlets. I'm forgetting others.

I hold these companies in high regard. They have done me well, and if issues arose, they handled it perfectly. Got an order from amazon today, thursday Frank sent me some stuff, as well as EBAY. Today tools delivered, got delivered, and I got the new shipping notice from Frank. It's a good time to be me. :)

Acme, unless it’s not in stock. Their generic “warehouse acquiring product in 7-10 days” has been inaccurate in the past. Short of that, very good service over the years. Exclusions to coupons are getting a bit long.

Toolnut. Been using them for 6 years, nothing but good things to say.

Zoro. Good service, but inflated prices and coupon restrictions combined with poor navigation and search means you have to work to get a deal. I don’t use them much anymore, but some seem to like them.

I've ordered many thousands of dollars of tools through ToolTopia over the years with never a single hiccup. Sometimes Amazon has a cheaper price on a tool, and I have gone through them as well with no issues there either. I've ordered some things from HJE as well, and they have the best service and communication out of anywhere, but typically I can easily beat their prices by shopping around a little depending on the particular tool.

jbtoolsales.com, https://www.jbtoolsales.com/ My last order with them was in nov., and was a total headache, so they are on the caution list, no issues previously. I did order from them yesterday, so we'll see.

I also had a headache with them. Since then I only order from their eBay store or through Amazon or Jet(Walmart). That way if there is a problem I can let the e-commerce platform sort it out.

It’s hard to cut them off completely because they often have the best price.

These guys nailed it. By doing research and being patient I've gotten some crazy good deals from zoro. Amazon is great also due to their awesome service the few times I've had a problem.
