I took my Paramo NO 6 apart today and all looks good. Had to drill out one jaw insert screw that was broken off. Question I have is the screw for the dynamic jaw has a stack of lock washers on it held in place with a cotter pin. When I would open the vise the jaw would start to come open and then the lock washers would pop by the wide lock of the washer and the screw would have slack between it and the jaw. About every one turn it would snap by and get slack. Should I put in Flat washers and adjust to get as close to cotter pin so as to not have to much slack or was it built with lock washers. All I'm going to do this winter is take it apart and put in the Typhoon at work to clean it up, replace jaw insert screws and use it till it warms up. The guy that I got if from had sprayed it with a can of White grease.
