Purchased a Hot Dawg 60000 btu heater for shop from Ecomfort and it's just to stupid lould, fan pushes the air alright but the hole niegbor hood hears it. Forget listening to the radio. My bad for being lazy and not doing enough research. Looks like Reznor has taken positive measures to address the noise generated from the fan and wanted to see if their are any happy Reznor owners here? Thanks

I have a 45k reznor. Yes its noiser than a furnace. But not bad at all. Its been a great unit for about 7 years now.
My son installed it and maintains it (commercial HVAC mechanic) its on propane.
Uses about 30-50$ a month depending how much im out in the garage. Garage is 26 x 32 insulated with 11'6" ceilings.
I keep it at 42 degrees all winter and bump it up to 55 deg when im "working" out there.

Any propeller fan type unit heater will be loud. Too loud? Maybe, maybe not. I recommend a furnace with a bit of ductwork. Only problem then is keeping the return air temperature above 55 or 60. Or better yet, if you have the space for it, put a radiant tube in. Almost completely quiet and heats great if you maintain temperature or at least close to your normal working temperature. I had the option of whatever I wanted, I did commercial industrial HVAC for a living for almost 30 years, and built my shop. I installed a natural gas radiant tube above everything else. I don't need A/C. Edit: I also installed one for a buddy. He loves it better than the forced air in his house!

I have to agree on the tube heater. Virtually silent.
But you do need decent height dont you?
A 12' ceiling is enough to have no problem in my situation. The installation manual has to be followed to be sure there won't be any problems. They differ depending on who's make and model. I also keep the shop warm as I use it daily. This helps with the biggest complaint with tube heaters- they burn your head, car paint etc...it doesn't run long enough to overheat anything if you maintain a temperature.
