One 30k heater or two?

Would it be more efficient to run 2 Mr heater 30k btu ventless propane heaters in two different areas or just stick with one? In a 800 sqft insulated/ finished garage.

You should have used a female handle when you posted, then all of the big, strong, intelligent men here would have been tripping over each other to ask you you silly questions like these;

1. If in 2 different areas how will the heat get to the other area if you only use 1 heater?

2. What is your location? Do you live in Antarctica or Alabama?

I'm certain many other questions would have been asked but you messed up.

I'm really proud of the people on this forum for the first time for ignoring this thread.

Efficiency wise, probably won't make a difference.
Ability to quickly heat the space there will be a huge difference.
Those heaters are somewhat "directional" too - so that would make a difference depending on how the space is setup.

Note, I have a 30K "back up" heater. I put it downstairs at the foot of the stairs. In a well insulated home, this keeps us in the high 60s low 70s when it is 20 degrees outside. I use it when the heat pumps would kick into inductive heat or when we have long power outages and it's very cold.

Downside is humidity...

Two is better than one but then you also double the downside of having a Ventless system (Lots of water vapor)
You could run a dehumidifier too, that would also add heat.

One should do it, but I would recommend buying a vented heater. I wouldn't install a ventless in a chicken coop.
