These one day polyaspartic/polyurea floors are becoming more and more popular. The link below illustrates the steps pretty well.

We held off on promoting these as the products were so new and short on cure that it didn't make sense for the DIY. However, our new slow cure 80 percent solids is perfect for the DIY community.

Scotty, whats the advantage of this type of flooring? I am starting to research now as I have about 1400 sf to do in the spring.

Bill, here are the advantages:
One day vs. three for an epoxy/urethane floor
24 hours for vehicle traffic vs. 5-7 days for epoxy/urethane floor
Polyaspartic won't yellow/amber like epoxy

Disadvantages:
Coats are thin and don't hide like 100 percent solids epoxy
- this is why they look best when used with the full broadcast chips
Cost vs. epoxy
Standard versions are super fast cure, not for DIY
- our slow cure version is an exception to this rule
