Very nice! How many sq. ft. did you put down? In how much time?
And were you **** enough to make sure all of the striations in each tile went the same direction? I was looking at the floor @ Kroger this morning, and thier VCT goes in all directions.
Not trying to jack a thread but tile can be laid turned or monolithic. Turned is where every tile is 1/4 turned. This helps hide problems in the floor below. Monolithic is where all tile are laid in the same direction. Easier to do but not as forgiving.
I did 19x19 to leave a small border which I have now painted black. I started lining them up but then I just put them in different directions. Thanks to everyone's comments I will take some pics with the bimmer next
I saw in another thread that you were applying the tiles over an existing epoxy floor. Can you give an update on how your floor has been? Have you seen any issues with the tile due to that or has it held up fine as expected? What did you do to the epoxy before putting down the VCT?
The floor looks good and I'd like to follow in your footsteps at some point as there is a bad epoxy job in place now.
