One or Two Fans?

Hey All,

I've got a 3.5 car garage with a 10ft ceiling that I'm going to be installed a heater in. I plan on installing a fan, 1) to move the warm air in the winter and 2) to cool the garage off in the summer.

For this size garage, is there an advantage to be had with two fans? In the winter, as long as the fan is moving air, I would think one fan would be enough. In the summer however, I would think two fans might be better for direct cooling and circulation of air.

Any opinions or formulas that might show what my best bet would be?

Thanks.

Only a 2.5 space, but I have a celing fan running 24/7/365 for circulation and a window fan blowing on me in the summer time.
I have tried more but find it over built.
If you never turn it off, one fan will catch up to itself when the circulation gets disrupted somehow.
