One sink or two

Trying to finalize my cabinets on my back wall of the shed. I plumbed the wall for a sink in two different spots while building thinking I would pick one side. I now think I want to put in two sinks but the wife thinks I’m crazy. She thinks it’s a waste.
The wall is 43’ long. I plan to have cabinets across the whole back wall. Photo shows location of the proposed sinks.

What your opinion, left, right or both?
Thanks

Seems excessive to me as well...it's your money, but is there a good reason to have a second sink five seconds away from the first one?

I usually think the wives are crazy and I would love to have your back but she's right. I wont tell her though so still your decision.

I could see a dirty utility type sink and also a cleaner smaller one for rinsing out mugs or washing hands.

Or one to pee in.

I'd probably just install the one on the left for starters, and bury or at least flush the supply(s) and drain on the right. And put the second sink in next year.

A stealth urinal has it's merits, though.

Hmmmmm

I have 2 sinks in my kitchen and one in my pub...……and one in each bathroom.....and it's not enough

It's handy to have something soaking in one while I use the second one.

Consider two sinks since you are already plumbed for two.
One sink could be out of commission for repairs but you won't be affected, work can still get done and clean up still done in the garage. One sink could be for "clean" jobs and the other for "dirty" jobs. It is nice to have options and a back up for any equipment.

Space will go fast. I have 2 on the shop floor but my shop is big. I use 1 most of the time. When I hired men it was used more and didnt have to go way back over to wash before P. It fits in my shop, in more conventional place 1 would do.
I actually have 5, there are 2 bathrooms and kitchenette.

Do one now, and you can always modify and put in a second one later.

Unless you are going to be cleaning "messy" items and washing kitchenette-style items, then I'd say two. Keep your food away from your grease.

I'd want 2 sinks if possible. One to use for greasy hands and parts, the other for clean hands, like after using the bathroom or before eating.

Is it too late to turn one set of plumbing into an exterior hose bib/sink for hot and cold water ? You're in Louisiana, so I doubt you have much to worry about being frozen.

Might be nice if your wife gardens, washing cars or you have a back patio that you entertain on.

Deep shop sink is a very handy tool. Make sure you have some counter space next to it...as you will want that to lay stuff on.

I plumbed a full bathroom in too...that is handy for when you are banished to the garage :bounce:

Here is mine...

Everything that I'm not putting into my granite & porcelain sinks.

Right, but what is that?

In my mind sinks are for women’s work and hand washing.

I could put a mitre saw station in lieu of the sink and never think twice again about the sink.

Do you have dogs? Perhaps one sink could be a dog washing station/custom deep utility sink.
I've been toying with this myself. Like an elevated 48" bathtub or shower pan. Not just for the dog, but it would be awesome for washing paint roller pans, trash cans, vehicle floor mats, boots, etc.

Something along these lines but in a corner. And some simple wire shelving above it for sitting and hanging items to drip dry.

(I would leave more foot room than that, probably just do open storage)

The Aquatic brand shower bases at HD have a pretty tall curb. I tike the idea of the tallness of a bathtub though. You could really scrub the **** out of something and contain the mess.

If you put in a utility sink it can be used as a urinal without the obvious statement
