I HAVE THE FOUNDATION WALLS AND FOOTINGS IN....  :pimpflash

Congrats on the progress!

Some photos would be nice. Did you dig the footings by hand?

One hell of a fashion statement going on in that last pic. :bounce:

That, my friend, is typical Seattle summer wear. You've got your t-shirt and shorts since it's hot (over 55) and your rubber boots for keeping your feet dry when it rains (all the time). The only thing missing is the sunglasses for those rare occasions when we're blinded by a huge bright thing in the sky :shocking: (once every 10 days or so).

Looking good!

I have the same problem getting help. I have been pouring the floor in my carport in 4'x4' squares using ready-mix because I can do that myself.

I poured a sidewalk using a towable mixer and a yard of concrete, but by the time I got it poured, screeded, cleaned the mixer, returned it, and got back home, the mix had started to set up.

A bunch of relatives keep asking if my 4-post lift is set up yet. I tell them it will be as soon as they come help me pour the slab. That's usually the end of the conversation. Lazy ba***rds.

There used to be some guys like that around here. We would all pitch in and help out whoever needed it. We dug ditches, raised barns, and caused general mayhem with implements of construction. Sweat and suds flowed freely.

Unfortunateley, they have all moved away and don't get down here to the swampland very often...:(

Scooter,

Might as well keep the forklift till next sunday (10/1) ... that'll give ya a chance to get the sheet/paper/shingles up to the roof.

BTW, get some more pics when the second story is raised ...

Lookin good tho!

When you get the siding (and the trim belt), it shouldn't look as monsterous.

This weekend gimme a ring if you need (or want ) a hand with anything ... I'm running out to lake city to pull parts off a rig a guying is parting, so will be in the area.
