Some of you may remember my thread a year ago, but likely not, I wouldn't. Anyway I was planning a 25 x 30 garage, BUT, the township didn't like the box look of it or how it sat on the property and refused it. So back to the drawing board. So now, we have a newer look which hopefully will work. Unfortunately the size had to change(18 sqft bigger)
so hopefully we will get the go ahead this time. Township is a royal pain to deal with. Similar to the image below as far as the roof line goes, but that's it. The left bay will be 16 x 22 deep with attic storage trusses and 10' high walls. The right bay will be 16 x 26 deep with a scissor style truss so I can put a hoist in there. Each bay will be a 10' wide x 9' tall door. This design has to go before the board in June, and pay $700 to see if they will like this one. If they approve, I first have to move the underground electrical, ($4000) and then I can start construction. I'm really hoping to be able to get the shell up before winter but spending the extra $5k before I even start digging kind of hurt a bit. Fingers crossed this time as I hope to be updating my own build thread at some point.
