theres an honest labor rate guide? the labor guide we had at the shop said it took .6 hours to replace a belt on a durango..took me a minute or two...

****...i dont remember which one it was, dont have it anymore. i think it was a mitchell..not sure..it looked like a huge bible..haha.

That's a fair rate (36 minutes). Imagine a professional technician...

1. Get the repair order.
2. Get the keys.
3. Find the car on the lot and bring it into your bay.
4. Get the part from the parts department (probably stand in line with another couple of techs).
5. Replace the belt.
6. Park the car back outside.
7. Fill out the paperwork and add your time flag.
8. Turn in the keys and the repair order to the service writer.
9. Clean and put away the tools (that's part of the job too).
