Hello

I have a 30x36 garage I put up several years ago and have used the building for odds and ends. Now I'm looking to utilize it a bit more and finish the project with some paint, lighting, electrical etc. I'm looking to paint the walls as the picure shows with a coat of primer and then a semi gloss white. As for the roof I'm thinking of using a product called KoolCoat which is a Radiant Barrier spray that you mix with any standard paint. Is this effective as foil or some other type of barrier most likely not, my main goal is to reduce the condensation from the wood joists. I believe my overall goal is to protect the wood from moisture, therefore by giving it a coat of paint will extend it's life. I don't live in this building and do not intend to create a glamor workshop. This building has had a 14x14 open end door frame exposed for years and until recently the building has not had a garage door. I'm hoping the garage door installed in the next few days will reduce some of this condensation I encounter. I have no intention of putting interior metal walls or OSB for the sole intention of cost/time/labor and return on investment.

For those of you that have sprayed buildings such as these has their been any suggestions or process you may pass along. I'll be doing so test panels this weekend to see how kilz or glidden gripper adhere to the metal panels.

Thanks,
