Opener for 12’ high door

Any advice on an opener for a 12’ high uninsulated door? I don’t want to go with the Liftmaster 8500 (not a high lift and I don’t want to mess with pusher springs) and the only other option I found with an extension available for 12’ application is the Ryobi belt drive, but it has mixed reviews. I can’t find anything for Genie or Chamberlin over 10’.

Thanks

I cut 2 feet off a 12-foot trolley bar to use a Chamberlin CL belt opener on a 10 foot high door
It was a one price bar so it was most likely a pro install originally.
So, they make them.
The only difference I saw from a normal opener was length of the bar and belt.
(I had to shorten the belt as well.)
I think their extension kit goes to 12 feet.

Go to a garage door supplier and look at the commercial or semi commercial openers. My guy recommended a Liftmaster semi commercial model (don’t remember the model) for a10’ door over the homeowner 8500.

I have a commercial lift on one of the 14’ doors... too high for me to read the data plate though.

I second that recommendation to go to a garage door supplier. If you're not sure if any are nearby, search "garage door supplier (nearest large city)". They're generally good about giving price info over the phone but not so much on the interwebs. They'll probably have 12' rail channel in stock -- one piece; which is stronger, quieter, are easier on the motor, trolley, etc. Genie Pro Max 500 and a one piece rail works well with 12'h door.
