Openers for roll up doors?

Right now I just use a chain hoist to lift my 12x14 roll up doors. I have one 14x14 too. Had the initial installers out to fix them from binding up and they work decently now without getting hung up, They still aren't adjusted right because it's my understanding that it should be just as difficult to raise it as it is to lower it and only 1 out of 4 is like that. Am I opening a can of worms installing an opener? I'd hate for it to turn my door into an accordian one day if it gets hung up on something and keeps trying to open.

Just saw this thread today.
What is going on with the door and how it rolls up? Why is it jamming that a door guy can't figure out?
I installed two 12x14 and two 14x14 myself.
The two 14x14 I installed Hiro GDO 12 motors. I like them. Nice and smooth .

Well I guess it worked.
Bit thats what I used. Easy to install and set up.
Be aware that the left and right brackets have to be swapped. Left on the right and right on the left.
The Instructions say "inverted" but , no not upside down like Maverick. Lol

Theyre all adjusted now. My only complaint is they seem to rub a bit and get a little tight the last foot or so at the top.

Picture? The curtain should not be rubbing or touching anything but itself as its rolled up.
If its too close to the header then as it rolls up and gets fatter it will bind .

That must be it then. I think its the guides it starts to rub against at the very top. I think that can be fixed by loosening the bolts and sliding it whichever way it needs to go.
