Opening Thumbnails

Is anyone else having trouble opening thumbnails. The screen goes dark, a box opens with a "clock" then it stops. Nothing further happens. This is the only site I have a problem with and it makes it impossible to view any pictures that are thumbnails.

Yes, it happens on my laptop with windows 7(?). When the black pop-up opens, I wait a couple seconds and re-click the picture and it works. It's a pain, but I guess I've gotten used to it.

And when there's multiple pictures, I click the "NEXT" button in the black pop-up. By the time I get to the FIRST picture again, they all open after that. I know, it's weird.

That works for me too!

You can also click on the black box that pops up and it will open the picture in a separate tab real quick.

OK. This works for me. Thanks. I am using Windows 8 (which I hate but am gradually getting used to.)
FrankLee's method did not work so it may be the windows 7/8 difference.

This is what I have to do with all the pictures that aren't actually embedded. It works, but its frustrating, and makes me not click on all of the photos I would like to just glace at closer real quick. Im running windows 7

Right-click the thumbnail and click "Open image in new tab".

Same exact process I've been using for a long time. Funny, but they used to just open when I first joined.

Right-click the thumbnail and click "Open image in new tab".
