They're low to mid range in quality, but worth what they are asking for. I see mostly see craftsman and campbell in there.

Craftsman I've never had a problem with other than they dont have much power (refering to impact wrenches and air ratchets here)

Never owned a campbell because I know they're not the best quality to begin with.

I use ingersoll-rand and better exclusively, but what do I know i'm just a college kid in the automotive repair industry!

Five tools at $15 a piece comes out to the asking price. Throw in the blow nozzle and extra fittings for 10 bucks and the air tank for round out an even hundred, it's probably not an unreasonable asking price.

That being said, make your offer and see what the negotiating goes.

The guy sounds like a **** but the price is ok.There is nothing there that would make me jump on this. However , if you don't have any of this stuff I would go for it.

Bottom of the barrel stuff if you ask me. $75 sounds about what they are worth, which isnt saying much. Theres nothing more aggravating than trying to use under powered tools to get a job done.

Personally I would pass, and put the money towards a better impact and air hammer. Mainly because these are the only two tools I'd actually use. (Ok maybe the cutoff too, but that's what the disposable 10$ hf job is for)

People can state what they want in their listing but money in hand still talks when you are looking at something. What's the worse than can happen, you make offer, he says "F no" and you leave. You still have cash in your pocket and he still has his tools.

Probably screening his calls too. Find a payphone and make about 10 calls after 9 pm asking what his bottom dollar is and make some low ball offers.

Call him from your phone asking if he will take $60 for all of it. If he declines just politely ask him to keep your number incase he reconsiders. Then start making calls from the payphones offering $40-50. Once he gets tired of all the calls, he just might call you back and accept the offer.
