Ok guys, need your opinions here, I found this Puma 80 gallon 2 stage model TK5080VM. Went to go check it out and talked to owner but its in the corner of his garage and is not wired to 220 as the panel was on the other side of his house and downstairs. He is retired, disabled and is wanting to trade my 30 gallon 110v craftsman air compressor and $400 for this. I feel thats an amazing deal but is it worth the chance since I havent heard/seen/tested it running??? I know he said he bought in in 08, used 1 year than got in a bike wreck and put it away, he says he has never changed the oil and the cover for the switch is missing and the cooler fins from one of the chambers are bent up a little...what do you guys think?? Should I do it? TIA!!!

Take the belt off, remove the outlet pipe. Manually turn it. If it gives good pressure you are on to something. Then you can run a cont. test on motor. If that comes out good there is a 90% chance it is a good unit.

Price seems okay. I have been looking for a larger unit and they seem to run $800-1200 in my neck of the woods.
