Opinions for my Build

I am looking to build a 30x30 (w/leanto of one side 30x40 footprint) 10' walls. After finding out I cant afford to hire some one to build it for what I got to spend (about $8500) I need some advise.
Right now I am trying to square the site to start digging holes. I am working by myself and cant seem to get the thing perfectly square while measuring corner to corner.
My question is how critical is it to find the exact out side corners? I am w/in a few inches so should I just dig the holes and worry about exact measurements when I actually set the poles?
Next question how deep do I need to set the poles? Where I am at in Missouri is very rocky and I'm sure I will have issues with that. Also, do I just buy the poles a little long and cut excess off when I run the top girt?
Thanks, Steve

p.s. attached pics of roughly what I have in mind for building

Buy the poles longer and cut them off after, otherwise you'll go nuts trying to get the depth of all the holes the same.

The bottom of the poles need to be below the frost line, what ever that is in your location. here in michigan its 42". when I had my barn build last year they dug the holes 18" in dia. x 42" deep, mixed two 80# bags of ready mix concrete in a wheel barrel, make it real soupy so when you pour it into the hole it'll self level it self, let set up 1 day and set the poles on that.

the building should be as square as you can get it, it makes everything else a whole lot easier

Use google to look up batter boards. Batter boards are set outside the construction area to run strings that will outline the outsides of your posts. You can take the strings down and put them back up as you are working. You will need a helper to set the posts I think.

Build the big box first, and get the roof on. Then set your poles for the shed roof.
