I have that saw and I love it. I have the older base that does not have the wheels and I wish I had that base. For that price, I would be all over it.

I'm a contractor & I have used that saw for years. It is quite excellent & is consistently rated as the best in its class.

Now don't expect it to be a cabinet saw; it isn't and sometimes struggles while ripping wet 2"x pressure-treated lumber, but it is still a fine tool.

It's a bamf. You can get one without the base for about half that price, though. Then, with the money you save you can make a really nice base.

I think you will enjoy the saw,as someone already pointed out don't expect to be ripping
treated wood with a high moisture rate. If you need to cut large plywood sheets you will need to first cut them with a circular saw.

It is the best portable saw you can buy. I have one and my dad has one.

Made this on it:

Congrats on the purchase!

I'd like to chime in that I've heard nothing but great things about it, and back when I was considering getting a contractor saw, that's the one I had my eye on.

I bought one last year, was walking threw menards one day and saw it with a red tag on the price. Looked closer and it was on sale for 420 bucks and it included the stand so I snapped one up. I love the saw. I did change the blade out right away to a freud. I don't use it a lot but it sure is nice to have when needed, and it does fold up and store nice in the garage.

Great portable table saw. Made in Taiwan.

When I was buying my Bosch 4100 I wanted it in 220 volts. I tried to source it from other countries but could not find one. In the end I had to settle for 110V. Looks like this particular Bosch table saw model is for US Domestic Market consumption only.

it was on sale for $599 an when i added it to my card it gave me 5%,5%,5%,5% discount...then i used a 50ff50 coupon code and my associate discount(10%) that brought it to $476 and then for some reason when i went to checkout it dropped it to $449 .....after that i had to grab it:bounce:

f.y.i sears charges tax on their online site otherwise it would have been cheaper still
