I have a 30x36 3 bay garage with a 12x36 upstairs that I am looking to heat. Garage doors are very drafty. Whole building is insulated with I believe R-19.I'm only looking for something to turn on when I'm down there working. I recently purchased a wood burning furnace for $100 but I soon realized it would cost me $2500 to install with insulated flue pipe.

I'm sure that this will be enough to heat the building comfortably but is there a cheaper alternative other than electric? I don'tknow howmany BTU'sI would need but there is 14,000 cubic feet to heat, 1400 s.f. total
