I've been working on improving my lighting in my barn and keep getting ads for "Sunco" brand lighting. I'm intrigued by the "UFO" lights, but also like their general shop lights (tube LEDs) for my lower ceiling areas. LEDs require less energy and I can use more LED lights if I get rid of my tube lights and have the same power usage.

Something like this for my barn loft:

Something like this for general shop light:

Does anyone have any real feedback about Sunco? I'd appreciate hearing opinions on them, please.

Most manufacturers dont endeavor to sell quality products either directly to the public or on Amazon. There's not enough profit in it. And from the prices of Sunco products, it's obvious that they are made and designed for the Amazon, Kijiji, or Alibaba customer. Sunco isn't actually a "manufacturer", but rather an importer, who uses multiple actual manufacturers to private label products for them. They let these shadow manufacturers bid on selling to Sunco and whoever is low gets the order....until someone else gives them a lower price.
Whether we want to admit it to ourselves or not, we all know that you cant get good quality products from no-name companies on Amazon at ridiculously low prices.
Good luck,

That would explain why "their" products look very similar to many other "brands" offering lighting options.

For what they cost, I wouldn't expect them to be industrial quality, but last long enough at the rate I would be using them. There aren't a lot of reviews on YouTube directly using the "Sunco" brand, but there are lots of reviews for products that look comparable/similar.

I just need an inexpensive way to light up a large area. I bought two Lithonia brand high bay lights at 9000 lumens each on clearance from Lowe's (I think). They were $65, so I may return them and order a UFO pack at less than $45 per unit with 19500 lumens. The review I saw for them regarding their output was that the output they claim is actually less than what a light meter read in reading the light output when testing.

**** shoot with LEDs it seems. I've installed 100s of Cree LED lights, almost of all of them failed before warranty expired. Cree honored there warranty and supplied new drivers for their lights. I also have installed many LED strip lights, they all failed also. Again driver issues and companies just shut the doors and no warranty. All these lights were bought thru electrical supply houses so the quality should have been better than cheap amazon stuff. I've also installed LSI lights, they have issues also. I will buy Cree and LSI again as both stand behind their products. LSI makes great HI Bay lights. You could buy many of those Sunco lights for the cost of 1 LSI hi bay

As long as your expectations are in line with the price, it's fine. So many people buy the cheap Amazon stuff, but then complain when it doesn't work out. Not sure what they're thinking...
FWIW, the biggest issue with cheap LED fixtures is rapid lumen drop off. After just a few hundred hours, the lumens can drop as much as 80%. It happens slowly, so sometimes it's not noticeable and people dont complain. The chinese know this and so they continue to make things that way.
Also for this review you mentioned....the output they claim is actually less than what a light meter read in reading the light output when testing. That's a nonsense claim. Fixture output is measured in lumens and the results are measured in foot-candles. Light meters cant read lumens, so that reviewer is either a shill or just ignorant. Just beware of these kinds of reviews.

I've used Sunco LED shop lights in my garage and they've worked great so far—super easy install and no flicker. However, I went with Letslightning when I was choosing floor lamps for living room use, and they’re absolutely gorgeous. Light quality is consistent and the price was way lower than some others I looked at. No issues after about a year of daily use.
