I am in the market for a drill press. I refuse to buy HF for this. Sears stuff seems OK but I can get the same size press for literally $10 more with the Palmgren name. I don't have a bunch of experience with Palmgren but it looks heavier made than the sears without all the BS.
I've been waiting for a good deal on craigslist with minimal success. Had a 1950's vintage Delta slip right through my hands.
I am going to be drilling metal almost exclusivley. Going to run the the Tractor Supply to see what Jet offerings they have, but the local TSC stopped carrying Jet so I need to get to the next city.
