Opinions on used ESAB PCM-875 plasma

I've been looking for a plasma for a while, $900 obo

He says it is a 2006 and has hobby use only. It looks new in the pictures, but it's not the current design.

I also will use it as a hobby unit for body work/light fabrication.

I think I'm gonna make an offer.......Any bad tales out there?

You can go to a lot of welding forums and I have done a few. Not much bad said about ESAB. Lots of electronics in these units. You do want to use it and open it up to see if there is any smell of burnt electronics.
