I would like to use a horizontal vent and run it out the back of my garage. However, the vent would be about 1' to the left and 3' above the window in the picture. The window is 6' from the inside corner. Is this ok? I am not overly concerned with condensation on the window and it never gets opened.

I can run it vertically out the roof but the wall is unfinished at this point so it would be easy.

No, unless you don't care about codes (if any) or safety. The vent is required to be at least 6' from an inside corner formed by two adjacent walls, 4' from any door, window, below or horiz. from sofit vent, 10' from forced intake, etc..looks like you couldn't have found a worse location. In your case vertical may be better. This is all spelled out in your owners manual.
