Opinons on shop hydronic heating options

I purchased a used AquaTherm outdoor wood furnace to install for heating my 40ft x 48ft shop.
What would be my best option for heating? Bring the water into a central heat exchanger then ducting the the heated air around the shop or piping the hot water around the shop to smaller heat exchanger units?

Are you going to heat the shop to the same temp 24-7 or are you planning on bouncing the temp up and down only as needed??
If you're planning on the same temp 24-7 I'd suggest baseboard radiators, and maybe a couple wall mounted radiators depending on the shop layout. Simple, no fans, very even heat distribution but rather slow recovery rates.
If you're thinking about bouncing the temp around, or if you'll be runnig vehcles in and out alot, a couple hanging radiators with fans will help with recovery times.

I think a combination may be the best answer.

Part of what I do will hinge on if I can get the heat exchanger out of the furnace ducting in the house.
This unit is coming from our old home place that my brother sold a couple of years ago through a deal I worked out with the real estate agent.

If I am able to get the heat exchanger I may go with a combination of forced air and base board or wall mount radiators. I would like to keep the shop heated when I'm not working but just so nothing freezes then bump the temp. up when I am working. So the burner will be fired 24/7 during the winter months.
I am also planning to put the burner in the enclosed portion of a 14ft lean to shed I built around one side and one end of my shop. So I may be able to harvest some of the heat the burner puts off in waste.
