Hello, I currently lease half of an 60X80 building. There's a wall down the middle. Each half has it'd own heater, bath, meter etc. The owner wants 80K for the building and the land its on. There are four other buildings like this on 2.5 acres.

My question is all the building share two sewer/septic systems and well. One person owns all the buildings. How would this work if I bought one building? 930

Are all the buildings on one parcel? If so, the parcel would have to be subdivided, with easement for access. If its septic / well, then the county (or city) will probable require the subdivided property to have its own septic and well. Have to ask them....

I would say that you would split the expenses of the septic that you're attached to 50/50 and call it a day.. but get something in writing

What cryptic said... get it in writing and file it with your deed so that the easement/encroachment is tied to the building.
