Options with new concrete garage floor

I had my house built last year and the slope in the garage was toward the house and not out of the garage door, so the contractor agreed to chip up the floor and report it. Water pooled near the house door.

What are my options with a new pour, I was thinking of coloring and stamping. Or staining...

Are these my only options? Do I need to wait 30 days if I stain it? I wanted the marble look but in large tile size or wood planks.

Thanks for any input...

If it has not been poured yet it can be colored in the truck and sealed after 30 days.
If it has been poured, it can be stained and sealed after 30 days.

For tile look or planks, you would need to score the floor in the desired pattern prior to staining.

The old floor has not been chipped up yet. I was thinking of stamping it. Which is nicer looking the coloring while mixing it or stain?

You can use an integral color before cured, a concrete dye or acid stain once cured. Which direction you go in - stamping, staining or coloring - will depend entirely on what YOU want the floor to look like. Here is a job one of my customers just did - acid stained concrete with a protective coating.

When you say "stamping it" what exactly do you mean?

I was thinking of stamping it with the wood planks. The concrete dealer near me deals in Butterfield products.

Could I border the garage with bricks and wood in the middle.

Then wait 30 days and stain them both? Then seal them? Its for a garage so I want it easy to sweep out.

I do not want to arrange coloring the concrete in the trucks and using two trucks.

If you will run jacks over this garage floor I would not recommend stamping,
The ridges of your stampings will be weak spots and will chip up if you roll over with a caster or a jack wheel.

If it's more of a "wax and polish" garage then you will be ok.

Stamping is great for patios where there is only light foot traffic. In a garage, you will end up very unhappy.
