Thanks to everyone who helped educate me on choices for garage flooring :thumb up: Even read all 71 pages of Dubber's "Double" thread.... picked up some other cool ideas to incorporate, besides just the flooring.

I had a tough time deciding on solid vs open style, but after reading many threads here and seeing so many of you, especially in the wet, or snowy climates found benefit in the open tiles I was convinced. Also after receiving samples from both RaceDeck and SwissTrak I figured out that the Open type was a better fit for me. The sample from SwissTrak made the decision easy..... really liked it much better in the open style. It felt more solid and with the tile being 3/4" thick I couldn't see through to the bare concrete floor nearly as easily as I could with the RaceDeck Flow Thru tile. Had I liked the solid type of tile better, I would have gone RaceDeck, as I liked the sub structure design and it was a lower cost overall.

Both companies Customer Service / Sales were outstanding to work with and prompt to send samples and quotes.

Been a car / motorcycle / garage enthusiast all my adult life, but NEVER got around to putting down anything on the floor. Looking forward to finally finishing off my garage. Pics to come in the next few weeks. Flooring should show up early next week, and hopefully the temperatures will come up from the 20's soon.
