Hi all. Happy to say I finally have a new snap on rep at my work. That being said. I ordered a new torque wrench model TQFR100c for a whopping 30% off. I thought it was a precision instruments torque wrench, but now that i'm looking into it a bit more it seams to be made by cdi. anybody own one of these. Just wandering if the quality is comparable.

I have owned the same torque wrench for over 2 years now. I use it daily and it still functions perfectly. I can't speak on the accuracy because I haven't had it tested but the build quality of it is fantastic.

Used one all the time at a tire shop I worked at while in high school. It was a shared torque wrench like Brokeguy had stated, so it got alot of use. But never failed in any way and always seemed to be a little better built than some of the cdi's the auto techs had. Plus i love the roller on the side for setting desired torque. I was working on a utility trailer and somehow left it lay on the trailer floor when the guy took off. Thought we lost it for good and my boss was pissed. On my drive home, i spotted something red and shiny on the side of the road, and sure enough there it was lol!!!!!!!!!!!!! a few scratches on it and the socket was gone but i brought it back the next day and put it back to work. preformed flawlessly after falling off a trailer at 50 mph.
