Ordered the wrong flake! What should I do?

After countless hours of looking at colors I finally ordered my flake and just told the guy at Torginol to give me the most common size without really thinking about it. I ended up with 1/8" when it looks like most of the garage websites sell 1/4" as the most common.

I bought 50 pounds for 810 sq ft. Should I just put it down? Buy another 50 pounds and go heavier because of the small size? I'm not sure how this will look.

Here's a pic of the Torginol plant which isn't far from my house. Not much to see.

If I'm figuring right 50 pounds for 810 sq ft is 1 ounce per sq ft. Here's what it will look like. Fairly heavy. I think another box pretty much gets me to rejection. What do the experts think I should do?

EDITED TO SHOW WHAT ANOTHER 50 POUND BOX WOULD LOOK LIKE. The flake is a mixture of yellow, black, graphite and white. I'm thinking if I order another box I may bring the yellow content down a bit, maybe from 40% to 25% and bump up the black and graphite.

Not an expert just me, but that flake stuff all of them are a nuisance to find nuts, washers, clips, pins our slippery fingers drop occasionally, solid colors only and light...

Good luck with that flake it will be impossible to see any small object that drops into the garage triangle.

I think deep down you know the answer to your question. If you had your mind set initially, don't change it as you might not be happy down the road. You know, the comment that I make more often than I'd like, "if I only would have..."

Either way, the floor will still fit with what you are doing!

I'm thinking it might be a good idea to tone the yellow down and make it more of an accent than the primary color.

the one on the left reminds me of when my dog would pee on my old epoxy floor. something about the white shining through so much the one on the right looks better imo

I ordered another 50 pound box and in total brought the yellow down from 40% to 20%, added 10% blue and brought up the white, graphite and black. It should be fun mixing the two together!
