O'Reilly Closeout Rack Finds!

I was killing time today in a town I don't visit often. Ever since I have been tipped off to the O'Reilly's closeout rack, I will check them from time to time. Today I found a 1/2" drive 17" Breaker Bar for $2.47, and a 1/4" swivel palm-ratchet for $2.77! Not too shabby.

The clearance rack at "my" store is apparently for really old merchandise that they are still trying to get full retail for. The same old junk sits on there for YEARS and just gets more and more faded as time goes on.

Yeah, mine too. When they do clearance something good, if it's not in stock locally but is available online the shipping is way out of line. I think if these guys would offer shipping that was more in line with what is normal they could clear out their stuff very quickly.
Seems like they are trying to make money on the shipping. Just my opinion, could be wrong.

One of the local ones here puts the stuff on the clearance rack but never marks it down. It will still ring up with the clearance prices but is marked wrong. The Lowe's here is the same way. If you know what is clearanced you can get some steals. In order to get them you will either have to scan them or check their website.

Good finds. Mine are never good, although I rarely go there anymore. NAPA and/or internet generally solves most of it.
