So most people live near an Oreilly Auto parts. If you like Gear Wrench's or KD Tools tools I recommend you go to Oreilly Autos Webpage and look at the clearance tab. They have about four hundred individual tools from KD on clearance along with a lot of Gear Wrench's. To see if your local store has the availability to get them so you do not have to pay shipping call the store and have the part number that is listed at the bottom and ask them if they can order it from their Hub Store or warehouse. Just do not look at the picture only look at the description also as some of them are additional to the kit they actually belong to.
If they can get it from their Hub store you will not have to pay shipping. If you have a large list I would recommend you either go their and have them check or just order them online.

There's 20 pages of KD stuff marked down in my area store. Best prices are on few items at 75% off, but most items are 50% off.

What is story on KD tools ?? Any good??

How does quality compare to Gearwrench or Craftsman??

Can't go too wrong with $1 extension or $6 ratchet 1/2 drive.

KD is now Gearwrench. They used to specialize a lot more in specialty tools, but had a full line of sockets and wrenches as well. That stuff was USA, most of their other stuff was not.

1/4" ratchet for $5

I might have to stop in tomorrow to see what they've got...

I know we do not stock ANY Gearwrench products in stores locally at O'Reillys, and I looked in to this today by pulling a few part numbers; I cannot even order this stuff from my warehouse/hub. So this appears to be an online only thing.

I dont know where they are pulling those stock numbers from, because I can pull stock quantities as well, and I am not showing anything like that.

Ok so it does not show in stock at your local store as I said before as these are stocked at warehouses only. Call your local store and ask them to check the system and use the part number and KDT as the line code. I have been with Oreilly's on and off for a few years now and I have both Gear Wrench tap and dies sets for about 20 bucks each along with some other odds and ends.

Does this mean they will get it for you from the warehouse with no shipping cost?

If you call your local store and it is in the supply warehouse for them they can order it and you can go in probably the next day and pick it up. I live in Crestview Florida and can order all the way up to Atlanta as my warehouse location. If it is in Atlanta it can be shipped free to the store. So just make a list of part number and the line code which is three characters for example KD tools is (KDT). Tell them you are looking online and want to check to see if you can get it locally or not.

I ordered a ton of stuff from there when it first popped up. Brownsburg DC in Indy all had it in stock. I'm constantly scanning the "60" cycle count report and clearance online for deals.

I have a few of these long pattern USA made KD wrenches I have picked up over the years and they are really nice. I am thinking about getting a set of metric and SAE for this price.

These also look like a pretty decent deal for the old Danaher round head USA made style ratchets. Craftsman used to carry them for a while as well.
KDT 45708 8' Slip Joint Pliers $2.98
KDT 711110 1/4"Dr Quick-Release Ratchet $5.07
KDT 731119 1/2"Dr Round-Head Ratchet $6.27
KDT 721117 3/8"Dr Round-Head Ratchet $4.78

Bought me another one today the Geardriver set for $21.73. They have them in Atlanta if anyone has access to this Distribution Center so no shipping cost. Have to say a nice set with all the handles ratcheting and includes a hard case with it.

I just went by and picked up some of the stuff I ordered on Monday from the warehouse. The ratchets are exactly what I thought they would be the standard Danaher entry level round heads that Craftsman also sold for a few years. They are decent tools for around the $5 each I paid for them. The pliers though are extremely nice for being only $2.98 each. I think I am going to go back and order around $20 worth of these pliers. The wrenches turned out to be really tiny and nothing like what I expected so I did not buy them.

Would you mind giving me the part number?

I looked through the 17-18 page of clearance and did not see a needle nose but would like to know the parts number. TIA
