I have a Craftsman tool box and the lower rolling piece has 4 drawers and the storage area beneath the drawers. What ideas are out there for organizing tools or whatever in this area? I can't seem to find a good solution for storing things there.

I use some Rubbermaid totes in the bottom of my Tool Cart for storing specialty automotive tools. Stuff like fuel pressure tester, compression tester, different custom made seal drivers, steering wheel puller, etc. Things that only get used one in a great while as a DIY'er. Each item and accessories are in their own zipper pouch so things aren't all mixed up. Toward the right is a Stanley Organizer with my die grinders and accessories.

Could find some combination of totes and storage organizers that would fit your box and tool needs.

I like the tools with cases idea. The rubber made totes is also good. I'll try some different combinations and see what works best.

Thanks and keep the suggestions coming!

Very heavy tools, power tools, things in cases. I like the open compartments on some of those boxes.
