I have a lot of random sockets, wrenches, and other tools. What should I do with them. There are to many missing to make a full set from buying individuals. For the price would would be better off buying a new set. They are left over tools from my my dad.

Give them or leave them out for a scrapper or a flea mkt guy to take.
Save something for sentimental value though!

Organize them as best you can, make lists of each tool category and see what you want to sell. Then, post them up here (in the classifieds)!

Are they duplicates, or specialy stuff?
If you think you'll use them, you could build an organizer to your liking. Or buy one.

I personally would give/sell/trade something over scrapping though. Was your dads after all.

Toss them in a tool box on a shelf. Open the box when you need to make a "special tool". Or when you lose a wrench from your daily set. Or give them away one by one when a friend is in need.
