Should have taken before pics, but it was a mess. The screwdriver drawer contents would just roll around and shift everywhere when you closed it. The pliers drawer was stacked 2 or 3 deep...and I forgot I had some of the ****. The sockets and ratchets all used to be in the big drawer together with the breaker bars and torque wrenches(now stored up top), but that made it very heavy and clumsy, plus, the air tool drawer was a TRAINWRECK. Now the air tools have the big drawer so I can see everything.

The OCD isn't liking the gaps in the socket trays...

There are still a few non-organized drawers. One holds all the air tool ****. Air fittings, roloc dics, etc. another has auto specialty tools crammed in it with a grease gun. The bottom deep drawer has a bunch of my just general homeowner tools in it, Pipe Wrenches, pry bars, PVC cutters, **** like that.

Best of all, I went from having every drawer full, to now having several drawers EMPTY. O **** ROOM FOR MORE TOOLS:beer:

Which ratchet wrenches are those?

Sent from my iPhone using The Garage Journal mobile app

I assume you mean the ones in the rack? Carlyles. The offset and weight on the box end makes them sit weird in the earnst trays if i have the logo facing up. They sort of pivot straight up and down so you can't see sizes at a glance unless you store them face down. They're on sale in the real deals catalog right now.

I've got full sets of both and full sets of the Carlyle long pattern combos as well.

The small sets lying in the drawer bottom are the gearwrench x beams or cross force or whatever the hell they call them.

Looking good!!! Makes me want to go out and redo my drawers.

Thanks, do it!

I like that screwdriver organizer trick, did you screw down the socket rail?

I got that from a thread on this board. Pretty handy indeed.

I did not screw it down. Time will tell. If it moves around I might, but with all the screwdrivers in on, I don't imagine it's going to be an issue.
