Were they $49.99 a set? Same price in Canada? Just bought a set off a guy for $50, I think I did alright? :dunno:

Are you talking about the Snap On mugs that look like sockets? I don't know the original price but they sell for crazy money on ebay. I bought a single mug for $20 last year and felt like I did pretty well.

I'm wondering if they'd warranty them. In the 1st 2 weeks two of mine developed breaks in the plastic lining from just soaking over night. That makes them pretty well useless for real use. The other 2 I baby and they are holding out but I would have liked to see something a lot more robust than this. I have some of the 1st type which had no coating so they don't get used and I'd expected these new style to be bullet proof. Not so.

I think they mean these cups. My wife and I hit the truck pretty hard that morning and got the cups and she got a new jacket. Pass some Snappy freebies along to the wife and watch the magic unfold next time she gets on the truck!!

They're crappy gimmick mugs. The fools on ebay have been paying a premium though so its a good way to make a few extra bucks. At one time they offered ones that were significantly better that can be identified by a combo end wrench handle design instead of the double box on the new cheap version.

The aluminum makes hot drinks and cold drinks lukewarm pretty quickly, mine has been relegated to a pen holder on my desk.

I'd take one if it was free with a tool purchase. I personally wouldn't give ten bucks for one. I think they are ugly. I have so nice meaty quality coffe mugs. Last one I got that I love is a ppg paint mug. Got it free on customer appreciation day at my local auto paint store

I think your wife's rear-end played a part in your getting a bunch of free SO stuff! I have pulled that trick with my wife before!

A four pack of those mugs just went for 145 bucks on eBay... My nephew got me one for our anniversary. I keep it in the freezer and use it for beer slushies.

Would they warranty it? Casting's finished pretty poorly. Are these just polished and not chromed? Thinking of taking a grinder and a sander to smooth some of the sharp casting lines.
