I did a mix.
I have OSB from 4’-8’ with metal W panel from floor to 98”. The extra 2” makes a trough of sorts in which I ran MC cable in I made some brackets and mounted a junction box at the top, ran my MC to it then ran MC behind the metal panels, notching the OSB where needed. My outlets are at 48” . For multiple outlets, I ran MC at the 48” height to subsequent outlets.
I definitely wasn’t the most efficient, I mounted all my OSB then mounted my metal panels then removed the metal panels to cut the OSB to mount the box to the horizontal purlin. I used my 3 plane laser to line up to the box, installed the metal panel and transferred my lines to the metal panel.
