I just signed a contract for a 28' x 36' pole garage. :)

The pole building vendor (Conestoga) will leave the OSB on the sides covered by house wrap. There will then be a couple month delay until my house contractor's subcontractor sides both the house and garage.

Should I worry about how long the delay until the siding is in place? Is there anything I can or should do to prevent moisture/rain from getting under the house wrap and damaging the OSB?

OSB can be in trhe weather for prolonged time until damage would occur. It is made with waterproof glues. And the housewrap is designed to breathe so you should be fine for a few months and then some. The only concern i would have is that the housewrap be fastened really good in case a storm blew up and tore some of it off. But I have seen houses wrapped for months at a time with no problems at all.

Just make sure that the contractor spaces the sheets as printed on them. It is typically about an eighth of an inch. Otherwise, dampness will make it look like the tide is coming in. I had mine exposed for a while, and during dry weather you could see light between the sheets. During damp or rainy weather, they were tight.
