OSB to Concrete transition

Hi guys,

2 weeks into my garage build. I'll be ready to install my house wrap very soon and wondering on proper transition at bottom of the OSB. I've left the OSB 1/2 up from the slab to prevent moisture to wick up the sheathing. But now I'm wondering if I should tape over the sheathing and onto the concrete and then put my Tyvec over that to prevent rain splashing up onto the sheathing from under the vinyl siding. How do you guys deal with this? Pictures if you have them

I have found that a good coat of paint can provide a fair degree of protection.

Cold fluid applied waterproofing on the base of the wall, extend 18" up from grade over your sheathing. Lap main wall weather barrier over the waterproofing. Then run metal flashing over the weather barrier along the base into the grade below (or with a drip edge at the top of slab and lap another weather barrier strip over the top of the flashing (behind exterior finish material).

I just googled it and found multiple options online from various companies. I'd do the same and see what you find. I'm not sure which companies would deliver or be available to you in Canada.

Been reading on those products and most say to apply at 45F or above. I'm just on the line for that. I might have to go with something like the 3M tape that can be used in cold weather.

I'm hoping to maybe find it local to do the job ASAP before it really gets too cold.
