I also started on the new layout for the cabinets. They are going to be getting doors put on them too pretty soon. Still have to get my bench put back up.

This is one good coat of Zinsser primer and 2 coats of Sherwin Williams paint.

Primer Coat

Paint looked closer to the pegboard color on the sample but I wanted it lightened a little to reflect better.

Little visitor wanted to see what I was doing!

Today I did the cabinets.

The wall on the right is shared with the house. I painted that a Scarlet color so I could have an OSU color theme with the Silver pegboard and other walls. The ceiling will be all dry wall and be WHITE.

Any suggestions or comments? Please let me hear em.

I like it, from the pic it almost looks like the fiberglass sheets. Was the OSB tongue and groove or **** ends? I am wondering if they will expand and contract and be noticeable if not T&G?

But ended, they have an 1/8" gap or so that I filled with caulk before painting. I doubt they will expand and contract too much. We will see I suppose.

It sure looks better then the raw stuff.
One trick I like to do is paint it before you put it up.
Walking around a panel sitting on sawhorses is a lot easier then climbing a ladder.
You only ladder work is cleaning up any raw spots from where you had to cut it to fit.

Thanks, I'm painting the OSB walls in the shop at my place this weekend. I am using the same primer. I will get the Sherwin Willams paint for use also.

No problem. It has a 6 year warranty and there is DEFINITELY better longer warranty paint there but this fit my budget. They have the color saved on the computer for me now so if I want a better one next time I can upgrade anytime.

I'd replace the Scarlet and silver with some Maize & Blue:beer:
